ABOUT ROLE:The Sales Representative is responsible for the management of Digi’s mobile Solution Agents and Merchants in order to build out and grow the eco-system of the product and achieve overall sales targets and objectives.  The successful candidate will identify leads, attract and recruit agents and merchants in ensuring continuous growth in overall agent/merchant network. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least two (2) years sales experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Proven ability to forecast and strategize with an ability to successfully execute sales plans.
  • Proven track record in successful customer relationship management.
  • Strong verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, conferences.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Relationship Building and Management

  1. Attract and recruit Agents and Merchants.
  2. Support & manage relationships with Agents & Merchants management structure.
  3. Track and monitor targets and performance.
  4. Ensure all Agents and Merchants receive the necessary access to software, hardware, and branding material.

Training and Development

  1. Develop and Execute Training Programs for Agents & Merchants.
  2. Develop training content and presentations that properly communicate to achieve high performance and compliance.
  3. Modify training program based on needs and feedback from agents and merchants and other identified gaps by key mobile money solutions stakeholders.
