DigiWallet allows you to send and receive international Western Union transfers conveniently from your mobile app. You can process transactions securely without needing to visit a physical agent.

Follow these steps:

  • Log into the DigiWallet app.
  • Select the Western Union
  • Enter the required details, including:
    • MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number).
    • Amount to receive.
    • Sender’s full name, occupation, and relationship.
    • Purpose of transfer and PEP (Politically Exposed Person) status.
  • Submit the request.

You will receive a confirmation message and SMS once your request is processed, your funds will be deposited to your DigiWallet account.    

  • Your DigiWallet account must be verified with photo ID (Social Security or Passport).
  • Details entered must match the transfer details from Western Union.
  • Your account must be in good standing.

Once approved, funds will be credited to your DigiWallet account, and you’ll receive a text confirmation within minutes.

There is no fee associated with the DigiWallet user with receiving the transfer.

Upon submission of your request to receive your Western Union transfer, you will receive an SMS confirmation with your ID transaction number. You can utilize this number to call DigiWallet’s customer service on WhatsApp at +5016238887 for any updates regarding your transfer.

If the request is rejected, you’ll be notified via SMS and may need to visit a physical Western Union agent for assistance.

Yes, you can confirm the total fees for a Western Union transfer to a particular in a specific location. You would follow the steps below:

  • Log into DigiWallet App
  • Select “Send Money”
  • Select “International Transfer”
  • Select “Get A Quote”
  • Input the requested information:
  • Amount in BZE dollars
  • Recipient Country
  • Recipient State/Province

You will receive an SMS confirmation with the total fees (cost of sending along with exchange rate fees) associated with sending the specified amount.

Once approved, the recipient will receive funds within 15 minutes during the hours of 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. A text confirmation with the MTCN will also be sent.

Transfers exceeding $1,000 BZD require Central Bank approval via the XCH-1 form.

The submitted transaction will be rejected and the user will need to submit the transfer over.

You’ll receive a confirmation SMS once the transaction is reviewed and approved by DigiWallet.

If the value being transacted is over the silver wallet level, then the user would need to have a wallet in the appropriate level based on the transaction type being conducted.
